🎯 Background

Before founding Direct Base Engagement LLC, I served as a Regional Director at Revolution Field Strategies, where I led field operations for the Fair Share ballot initiative. This campaign aimed to pass a progressive tax on million-dollar incomes to fund education and transportation in Massachusetts.

My hands-on leadership in this campaign helped shape the systems, standards, and field methodology that now define DBE’s canvassing model.

 

🏃 My Approach

(While at RFS)

  1. Canvasser Recruitment & Training
    I recruited and trained 60 canvassers in under 10 days, eventually managing a team of 100+ across five cities. I led:
     

  • Candidate outreach, hiring, and onboarding
     

  • Daily coaching on messaging, objections, and voter engagement
     

  • Strategic deployment across Boston, Lynn, Peabody, Danvers, and Revere
     

  1. Field Quality Control
    I implemented daily performance check-ins, field audits, and turf rewalks to ensure consistency and quality of outreach.
     

  2. Data Reporting & Strategy Feedback
    I provided campaign managers with real-time reports on door counts, persuasion rates, and field intelligence—helping refine strategy mid-campaign.

  • 600,000+ doors knocked under my supervision
     

  • All assigned regions won with favorable vote margins
     

  • Ballot measure passed statewide
     

  • Turnout exceeded projections in working-class precincts based on campaign VAN data
